Janeane Bernstein is a writer, actor, radio host, speaker and author of “Get the Funk Out.” Through all her avenues, she helps people find new directions in positivity, and this has only increased during the pandemic.
She has leaned heavily on her community during the pandemic, and has taken every opportunity to connect with them further. While radio is traditionally audio-centric, she has started a camera stream to help connect with her listeners during each show.
In addition to connecting with her community, she has also helped students, parents and educators connect with professionals in different career fields to help with a mentoring series.
And at the end of the day, she holds to the truth that “Sometimes the worst thing that happens to you turns out to be the best thing that ever happened.” Situations will look like the darkest moment of your life, but changing your mindset toward them into a growth mindset will make you wiser and stronger than you were before.
